Flat Lamby's Journal Entry from Marlton, New Jersey

Base ECP (AKA Entry Control Point...or... Gate)

Notice the snow? There's supposed to be more tomorrow!

C-17A AFT CARGO

This is where all the cargo/troops/etc. go.

C-17A Control Cabin (AKA Cock-pit)

Trust me, with all of these pretty shiny buttons and levers, pilots don't even look out the windows! They just talk to a computer!

DFAC (AKA Dining Facility) serving line

LUNCH!!! = $4.35...can you say "Cheap"...but ummm good!

We had German sausage with peppers and onions, sauerbraten, scalloped potatoes, a cheese biscuit, and Powerade. The guy acrossed the table from us is just some Staff Sergeant...who really likes carrots!

OK...we didn't get to go on the KC-10A last week, but, we did get to go to Uncle Dan's out-processing dental appointment! Lamby is all good! Uncle Dan is all
1's, with one 2...

As the crow flies, the distance between Simi Valley and Marlton, New Jersey is 2,387 miles/3841 kilometers.
