CTLS Flat Stanley Project: Flat Charlie and Flat Stanlina's Last Journal Entry

We thought it would be a good idea to give a quick little recap of some of the things Flat Charlie and Flat Stanlina have done during their visit with us before we send them both off today.

Attending a 90th Birthday Party

We actually had a veritable horde of flat persons in attendance at Niamh and Clara's Great Grandfather's 90th birthday party. Flat Stanlina and Flat Charlie were there of course and hopped from table to table with alacrity. Flat Niamh was home from her visit to Arizona and had Flat Stanley and Flat Arthur along to keep her company.

Making Valentine Books

With Valentine's Day drawing close, both Flat Stanlina and Flat Charlie helped out a great deal with our Valentine Books. The two girls are nearly impossible to make out in these photos given the ~~enormous mess~~ fantastic evidence of creativity on our dining room table.

Niamh intended to send Flat Stanlina back home along with the Valentine she sent to Tara, but Stanlina is a wily one and somehow managed to evade the envelope in order to extend her stay.

Remodeling a Fixer-Upper Dollhouse

Flat Stanlina and Flat Charlie also helped us in getting started on remodeling this dollhouse: a thrift store find with great potential that needs some sprucing up.

After the walk through, Flat Stanlina and Flat Charlie helped Niamh take measurements to help in planning for painting, arranging the furniture, and redecorating.
